This small collection contains two warrants, 1696, for holding elections for assembly in the counties of Chester and Kent, signed by Governor Markham and endorsed by the sheriffs of the respective counties together with the names of the men elected; a proclamation, 1698, against pirates; and a facsimile of the oath and signatures of Governor Markham's council, 1681.
